Adventure Programs
Adventure programs are motivating, stimulating, and fun.
Various forms of adventure (rock-climbing, rowing, rafting, paint-ball, cross-country skiing, etc.) can be combined to fit the company culture, its unique organizational features, and its development needs. Brief discussions taking place at the end of the day evaluate the participants’ experiences, in turn circulating knowledge among the members of the team.
What kind of problems do these programs provide a solution for?
We recommend these programs primarily to teams that have been together for some time, and to team-members that know each other well, since the teams participating in these programs must have a certain pre-existing level of development.
The flexible programs designed in accordance with the results of assessment carried out in advance can provide a solution for many types of organizational problems.
Adventure programs can be effective if:
- the objectives and the values in line with the mission of the company are not apparent in the daily life of the company
- the group faces new challenges
- the company must solve problems requiring more enthusiasm and commitment
- the staff has attitude problems
- a change must be managed, and some “awakening” or various points of control are required
- there are signs that the group or the individuals in it are experiencing burn-out
- the organizational units or project teams need to get to know each other better, or the dynamism of a project needs to be maintained
The various types of adventure programs include:
- woodland – mountain programs
- rafting
- rowing
- city-rally in an urban environment
- paint-ball
- skiing programs
