The INSIGHTS Discovery System Personal Profile

The INSIGHTS Discovery System®  Personal Profile

The INSIGHTS questionnaire consists of only 25 question groups and it takes not more than 30 minutes to fill it in, still, the outcoming INSIGHTS Discovery System Personal Profile describes the participant’s personality with nearly 90% accuracy. This is all done in an everyday language and in an understandable form, but at the same time in a very tinted way.

The content of the INSIGHTS Discovery System Personal Profile

The report details the participant’s personal, working and decision-making style as well as his/her attitude. It describes the key strengths both the participant and the environment can build on. It indicates development areas, thus giving help for further improvement. A separate chapter is devoted to the description of the factors the individual can best contribute to team work and thus it provides help in creating the optimum future team mix.

The report gives useful information for the participant as well as for his/her manager about creating an effective communication strategy. It gives advice to the environment; how to communicate with him/her, how to motivate him/her and how to find the optimal level of co-operation. Besides, it helps the participant as well to find the key to people who might prove to be difficult to handle due to different preferences and ways of operation.

The report also points out the most effective and targeted ways of management and motivation. It describes the ideal working environment of the participant as well as the types of tasks (s)he is able to fulfill with the least use of energy.

The feedback provides a detailed description about possible white spots. These are forms of behaviour the person is less aware of, unlike his/her environment.

At the end of the report a three-page-long diagram introduces the individual colour combinations.  Besides exploring the spontaneous - the so-called less conscious - basic personality, it also indicates the conscious efforts we make to conform to the expectations of the outside world. The energy flow - which indicates the colour proportion of conscious and less conscious energy - illustrates very well the motivations and psychological background of the individual’s behaviour.

The Personal Profile:

  • Helps the participant to find out more about himself/herself, and about his/her deeper motivations and needs
  • Helps explore our own resources as well as those of our colleagues, thus contributing to an effective resource management
  • Helps to understand what other people mean for a team and thus helps to find out how a team could supplement the strengths of the members
  • Helps the participant to get acquainted with his/her own key strengths and the major development areas
  • Helps the participant to be able to give adequate support in order to achieve personal and organisational objectives
  • Helps the participant to understand his/her business partners and internal and external customers better, and helps him/her to learn how to approach them
