INSIGHTS Discovery System® Personal and Team Effectiveness Training

 

According to the results of several studies, employees communicate during the majority of their working hours. They communicate with their peers, managers, fellow employees, clients, and partners. Furthermore, research of the past decades has proven that a team is more than just a group of individuals. A well-functioning team can produce better results than its members can individually. Yet, in the case of a less-efficiently operating team, the members of the team can hamper each other’s performance.

Communication is most effective when it takes into consideration the partner’s needs and expectations, and is adapted to the partner’s individual style. Everyone is an individual. Style, expectations, and needs differ from person to person. Our program helps us to discover and to understand these differences. Namely, how we can begin to know more about ourselves and others, and how we can use this knowledge to reach our goals.

From the point of view of team work effectiveness, it is important that all the necessary team roles are represented (which are necessary for the job in question), that team members agree on the individual and team demands and objectives, and that they work out the ways in which they will cooperate. In order to be able to best adapt ourselves to the partner’s communication needs, we must be aware of our own preferences. We must know what is typical of us, which communication methods we should choose, what we are good at, and what we could improve on.

This program improves personal effectiveness and develops problem-solving communication skills while globally improving communication and co-operation among the participants and within the company. The program helps to identify and resolve conflict and communication barriers within the team. The team cohesion which it brings about strengthens loyalty to the team and to the company.

By the end of the program participants will:

  • Become familiar with the Jungian preferences and the system of Insights
  • Become familiar with the theoretical background of the Insights personal report and its team aspect interpretation
  • Understand the pieces of information the feedback report contains and be able to use it as a source of self-development
  • Be aware of their own preferences and rely on their strong points while consciously recognizing their own limitations
  • Be introduced to the principles and practice of efficient and personalized motivation
  • Become familiar with the principles and practice of proactive leadership
  • Be able to identify others’ preferences and acquire tools which help bring about more effective communication and co-operation with others
  • Become familiar with and be able to apply those factors and tools which influence team effectiveness
  • Realize their team’s weak and strong points with the help of INSIGHTS, and receive tools to develop team efficiency
