Develor, a market leader in the training and consulting business, has always expressed concern for the community through its CSR programs, especially in the times of crisis. For this purpose, the company management, despite of the slowdown, decided to keep raising the allocated budget for and intensifying its activities in this field in 2010, instead of cutting them down.
Second home – Rehabilitation Home for Children with Tumours
In January 2004, Develor undertook an initiative, whereby, we became a key sponsor to the Second Home Rehabilitation Centre in Bakonyszűcs, an institution operated to provide for children suffering from oncological illnesses.
We embark on activities like providing considerable financial aid and tangible assets to the centre as well as toys for the children. However, what we attach more importance to is the involvement of our staff in organising Develor days for these children, where they participate in a variety of team games and individual exercises. Our goal with that is dual: to give the children a lifetime of happy memories and to inculcate a sense of social responsibility within our staff.
The children in need can expect our support also in the current year. For more information, visit: www.masodikotthon.hu
SOS Children’s Village Foundation
Develor started supporting the Hungarian Foundation of SOS Children’s Villages as a Platinum grade sponsor in 2009, under special cooperation.
We at Develor strongly believe in the adage: “instead of givingsomeoneafish, teach them how tofish”. For realising the same, the managers and staff working for the Foundation are provided with a series of up-to-date corporate trainings proven in business life. The support package that is worth over HUF 10 million is planned to be completed in 2011. It constitutes major help in efficient operation of children’s homes, in improving leadership culture at the Foundation and in developing the their staff’s skills in obtaining support and keeping contact with their partners.
AIESEC – Association of Economy Students
AIESEC is an international student organisation with the aim of preparing students in institutions of higher education for employment, organising professional practices, providing conferences and seminars to young people. Develor believes that skills development and preparation of future managers for their first year of employment must be started as early as at university or college. In both 2008 and 2009, we offered 7 trainers to hold annual training courses for AIESEC leaders, also with the participation of company representatives. The training will also be held in 2010.
Since 2008, we have been a key professional consultant to AIESEC’s Most Attractive Company survey; the sponsorship has included both full funding and experts provided to prepare and implement research.
